Digital Wallet Solution

The Challenges
As TAQAT advanced the eWallet initiative, several functional, payment, and security-related gaps became evident. These challenges needed to be resolved to ensure accuracy, scalability, and readiness for real-world deployment.
The challenges are:
1. Missing Orphan Entity Structure
The system was originally designed without an orphan entity, which limited the ability to associate orphan-related funds with customers. This created structural gaps in fund management, tracking, and reporting within the overall eWallet architecture.
2. No Automated Orphan Amount Deduction
There was no automated mechanism to deduct orphan-related amounts during customer transactions. This required manual intervention, increasing operational effort and the risk of inconsistencies, delays, and allocation errors during fund processing.
3. Absence of Percentage-Based Fund Distribution
The platform lacked logic to distribute deductions across multiple orphans using percentage-based allocation. This limitation made it difficult to ensure transparent, fair, and accurate fund distribution when multiple beneficiaries were linked.
4. QR Code Display Integration Limitation
TAQAT required DigiPay.Guru’s QR code to be displayed on their machine for payments. However, the system had no existing integration or technical support to enable QR code display and usage.
5. No Instant Voice Payment Confirmation
The system did not provide immediate voice confirmation after successful payments. This affected user clarity and confidence, as users had no real-time, audible confirmation that a transaction was completed successfully.
6. Security Vulnerabilities Identified via VAPT
VAPT assessments identified multiple security vulnerabilities across the platform. These issues needed to be addressed to ensure data protection, regulatory compliance, and system stability before scaling or launching in new markets.
The Solutions
DigiPay.Guru implemented a structured, solution-focused approach to address each challenge, to ensure operational efficiency, improved user experience, and security readiness for a scalable eWallet deployment.
The solution includes:
1. Orphan Entity Integration
We introduced the missing orphan entity and integrated it into the customer structure, while enabling accurate association, tracking, and management of orphan-related funds within the eWallet system.
2. Automated Orphan Amount Deduction
An automated deduction mechanism was implemented to ensure orphan-related amounts were accurately deducted whenever the main customer performed a transaction, thereby eliminating manual handling and improving operational efficiency.
3. Percentage-Based Allocation Logic
We implemented percentage-based allocation logic to distribute deductions across multiple linked orphans, ensuring transparent, accurate, and rule-driven fund distribution across all beneficiaries.
4. QR Code Integration with Client Systems
Our team integrated the platform with the client’s third-party system, enabling seamless QR code display on the client’s machine and supporting faster, more convenient payment processing.
5. Instant Voice Confirmation Enablement
A voice notification feature was added to trigger immediate confirmation after successful payment completion, which improved transaction clarity, user confidence, and overall payment experience.
6. Security Hardening and VAPT Resolution
We collaborated closely with the client team to analyze and resolve all VAPT findings, thereby strengthening the platform’s security posture and ensuring compliance with required security standards.
7. Onsite Collaboration and Deployment Support
Our team spent two months onsite to understand business workflows, refine requirements, develop features, validate implementations, and ensure stable, smooth, and reliable platform deployment.
